We are thrilled to share that the ENTRACK project will be presented at the eceee 2024 Summer Study, held this year in Northern France. Our colleague, Giulia Viero, IEECP, will be representing the ENTRACK project and activities.

- Session Title: Social Energy Plans in Action: What Makes for Good Co-designing of Just Energy Plans
The session will focus on the crucial role of local and regional authorities in achieving the EU’s climate neutrality targets by 2050. It will address the challenges faced by local policymakers, particularly in rural communities, who often lack the knowledge and technical capacity for socially just energy planning processes. The discussion will explore the concept of social energy plans, the main drivers for effective co-designing of these plans, and the current challenges, especially concerning vulnerable groups.
ENTRACK and our colleague Giulia will engage the audience in a discussion on these topics, aiming to gather insights and experiences from experts in the field of energy efficiency, energy poverty, and sufficiency. Preliminary results from our project taxonomy and upcoming activities with the climate explorers will also be showcased.
We invite all participants to join these sessions to learn more about the ENTRACK project and contribute to the discussion on creating socially just and effective energy plans.
