About the Event
As the ENTRACK project approaches its conclusion in October 2026, project partners, policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders from across Europe will gather in Brussels for the ENTRACK Final Conference.
The event will showcase the project’s main achievements and provide a platform to reflect on the knowledge, experiences, and practical insights generated throughout its implementation. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange lessons learned, discuss policy implications, and explore innovative approaches that support socially just and inclusive energy transitions in rural areas.
The conference will bring together representatives from European institutions, regional and local authorities, academia, civil society organisations, and energy communities to strengthen dialogue on the future of rural energy transition policies and practices.
4th EU Community of Practice Meeting
A key part of the programme will be the Energy Transition in Rural Areas Community Group Meeting (4th EU Community of Practice).
This interactive session will present policy recommendations, practical tools, and good practices developed through the ENTRACK pilot actions across participating countries. It will encourage dialogue between project partners, policymakers, and external experts on how to foster inclusive, participatory, and locally driven approaches to the energy transition, ensuring that rural communities play a central role in shaping Europe’s sustainable future.
Why Attend?
By joining the ENTRACK Final Conference, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Discover the key outcomes and achievements of the ENTRACK project.
- Learn from pilot experiences and good practices implemented across Europe.
- Explore policy recommendations supporting socially just energy transitions in rural areas.
- Engage with European policymakers, researchers, practitioners, and local stakeholders.
- Exchange ideas and build new collaborations within the growing Community of Practice.
- Contribute to discussions on the future of inclusive and community-driven energy transitions.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brussels and online for this final gathering of the ENTRACK community as we celebrate the project’s achievements and discuss the next steps towards a more resilient, sustainable, and inclusive energy future for Europe’s rural regions.
