João Pedro Gouveia, a prominent researcher and project partner from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, participated in the C40 Cities Inclusive Climate Action Academy held at the Fundação da Cidade de Lisboa. During the event, Gouveia delivered a MasterClass on Energy Poverty Diagnosis and Monitoring for representatives from cities including Lisbon, Milan, Athens, Warsaw, Paris, Rotterdam, and Barcelona.

The session focused on engaging hard-to-reach energy users and provided insights into the current status of various energy user profiles at the EU level. Gouveia shared the ongoing efforts and initiatives by his team, particularly through projects like LIFE HORIS, the ENTRACK Project, the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub, and Ponto de Transição, all aimed at addressing energy poverty and fostering citizen engagement in energy-related solutions.
