Designing clean energy transition plans and having the opportunity to contribute to this important European initiative is a meaningful responsibility. These were the central themes of the public meeting held to present the ENTRACK project on Wednesday, 29 October, in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall of Piano di Sorrento.
The public meeting was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Piano di Sorrento, Giovanni Iaccarino; the Councillor for Public Works, Anna Iaccarino; and Francesco Saverio Cannavale, the Official Responsible for the Fifth Sector. The Municipality of Vico Equense was represented by Monia Cilento from the Europe Office. The ENTRACK project was also represented by its partners Kilowatt Soc. Coop., responsible for the ethnographic study, and CCR – Citizens Crossroads, in charge of communication.
As part of the local planning process for the creation of a Renewable and Supportive Energy Community, a series of participatory meetings were held with key local stakeholders. These engagements aimed to foster dialogue, gather insights, and build collaborative momentum around the clean energy transition at the community level.
